User Obligations

Users must accurately describe the condition of their devices during the buyback process.

It is the user's responsibility to remove all personal data, accounts, passwords and activation locks from devices before sending them to Broken Fones.

Users must comply with all shipping and packaging guidelines provided by Broken Fones.

Users are responsible for ensuring that devices are packaged securely and appropriately to minimise the risk of damage during transit.

Shipping, Transit Damage and Device Condition

Devices are assessed and valued based on the condition in which they are received by Broken Fones.

Broken Fones is not responsible for any loss, damage, deterioration or additional faults that occur while a device is in transit to us, including damage caused by inadequate packaging, mishandling by a courier or postal service, or other circumstances outside our control.

If a device arrives in a different condition from the condition described when the initial valuation was provided, including where the device has sustained damage during transit, Broken Fones reserves the right to revise the valuation to reflect the actual condition of the device upon receipt.

It is the sender's responsibility to package the device securely and, where appropriate, use a tracked and adequately insured delivery service. Any claim relating to loss or damage caused during transit may need to be made directly with the relevant courier or postal provider.

Pricing and Payments

The valuation of devices is determined by Broken Fones based on the information provided by the user and may be adjusted following physical inspection.

Any initial or online valuation is provisional until the device has been received and inspected by Broken Fones.

The final valuation will be based on the device's actual condition at the time it is received and inspected.

Payment for buyback services will be processed in accordance with the terms agreed upon during the valuation and inspection process.

Intellectual Property Rights

The content on the Broken Fones website, including images, logos and text, is the property of Broken Fones and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

Limitation of Liability
